Company History

Talal Dakkak started the company in 2012 after years of gaining general plumbing experience. Talal felt that the Santa Cruz community needed honest plumbers who delivered reliable results. He started his business under this simple principle, and it caught on quickly.

Thanks to its popularity, Talal soon brought his brother, Moe, on board, and the two have been moving from strength to strength ever since. The community rewarded the brothers with the “Best Plumbing Company in Santa Cruz” for six years running, and the company keeps growing.

Talal and Moe grew up in a family of small business owners and entrepreneurs. Both brothers saw how to build a business from the ground up. Talal, in particular, knew that he wanted to run his own business from a very young age.

He always envisioned having a family-run company, so inviting his brother to join him fulfilled that dream. Together, the brothers treat their customers like extended family members and ensure that every other team member does so too.

Ariel at Expert Plumbing provided excellent service—on time, cleaned up site each day, great explanation of what the problem was and how to fix it. I used Expert Plumbing for a basic install of a water heater several years ago so reached out to them when an underground water leak necessitated complete home re-piping, Ouch!  I was impressed with the value and all things that make an unexpected home repair be as easy as possible. AND I even upgraded to a tankless water heater which is a life changer!
