2. Estimates, Contracts, and Payment
Upfront pricing. We use flat-rate pricing. Your technician will give you the price and get your approval before any work begins.
Online and phone estimates. Any pricing shared on this website, by phone, text, or chat is a preliminary estimate. It is not binding. Final pricing is set after a licensed technician evaluates the job in person.
Written contracts. Work is performed under a written contract or work order as required by California law. Your contract or invoice will state the price, scope of work, payment terms, and any warranty. If these Terms and your signed contract conflict, your contract controls.
Changes to the work. If we find conditions that change the scope or price, we will explain them and get your written approval before doing additional work.
Service charges. Some service visits include a service charge, such as a trip or diagnostic fee. We will tell you the amount when you call to schedule. We charge only one service charge per visit.
Replaced parts. You may keep any parts we replace. Just ask your technician.
Memberships, financing, and coupons. Our membership plan, financing offers, and coupons have their own terms, which are provided when you sign up or redeem them.
3. Scheduling and Cancellations
Business hours. Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Emergency service. We offer emergency service for urgent problems like burst pipes, major leaks, and sewer backups. Service outside regular hours or on holidays may include additional fees. We will tell you about any added fees before we dispatch a technician.
Arrival windows. We work hard to arrive on time. Weather, traffic, emergencies, and parts availability can occasionally cause delays. We will contact you if your appointment is affected.
Cancellations. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.
4. Warranties and Existing Conditions
Our workmanship. Our labor warranty is stated on your invoice or contract.
Manufacturer warranties. Water heaters, fixtures, and parts are covered by their manufacturer’s warranty. We are happy to help you file a warranty claim.
Existing conditions. Older homes can have corroded pipes, hidden damage, or code issues we did not create. We will tell you about conditions we find. We are not responsible for pre-existing problems that our work did not cause.
